Our mitre-fold Insert V-Groove Router Bit boasts a special tip grind for perfect fold and a crisp corner clean out. Available in 91° standard version (#4320.050.34) which is used on wood and composite materials up to 25mm thick, which allows for expansion and glue space, there is also a true 90° version available (#4320.050.34S) from stock which is used specifically on solid surface material such as Corian. These insert tools are designed for perfect insert location positioning when changing out the reversible insert knife so that there is no adjusting or test cut necessary. Made in Germany, the tool bodies are highest quality workmanship and precision balanced.
V-Groove router bits come to a point, so any runout caused by an old collet, incorrect torque, poor quality tool holder or collet nut will definitely be quite noticeable in the cleanliness and crispness of the inside corner. For customers with HSK tool interface on their CNC machine, we highly recommend putting our insert V-Groove bits on a heat shrink tool holder which provides the highest accuracy in clamping.
