Cyclone Dust Extraction Nut

Reduce Dust and Improve Shop Air!

CYCLONE DUST NUT - Series 6363
Cyclone Dust Nut

Our new and improved Cyclone Dust Extraction Nut with ceramic coating is now available from stock! Recommended for nested CNC router operations, our Cyclone Dust Nut is an excellent companion piece for reducing dust generated in the cut and quickly directing it to the dust collector. It also helps promote cleaner shop air and cleanliness.

The Cyclone Dust Extraction Nut‘s design reduces dust in nested CNC router operations, leading to improved finish quality, tool performance and ultimately, an improved work environment for the operator.  The Cyclone creates an upward draft to help direct the dust particles into the collection system and away from the tool and material.   It works best when using a tool with the shortest possible cut length to perform the cutting task so that the shroud stays close to the table to improve the vacuum.

How well it works depends on a synergy between cutting application (i.e. material, tool and type of cut) and the efficiency/setup of your dust collection unit. A well suited setup has the potential for removing 97% of dust generated from the cut.

Easy Installation for Cyclone Dust Extraction Nut

The Cyclone Dust Extraction Nut is designed to work with any tool holder that accepts ER32, ER40 or RDO35 (SYOZ25) standard collets. The cyclone has two options available 100mm diameter and 80mm in diameter to alleviate tool carriage size restrictions. The Cyclone can be installed in minutes! Simply remove the collet nut and collet from the tool holder, insert the collet into the Cyclone nut (make sure you lock it into place!) and secure it on the tool holder.  It works best with tool diameters of 3/8″ and 1/2″. Manufactured from lightweight alloy, balanced to G2.5 and rated for RPM’s up to 20,000.
