Single Hole Square Planer Carbide Insert Knives For Planer

These square 4-sided carbide insert knives have a center hole and a 30 degree cutting edge bevel on all 4 sides.   They are used in spiral and helical planing cutters.   Important note:  These inserts all look strikingly similar but have very slight differences that are hardly perceivable to the eye.  Close attention must be paid when ordering!  If there is any doubt, please call us to clarify because once inserts have been installed on a head and ran  (which is when a mistake will be noticed) they cannot be exchanged.  Corners can be straight or have a small radius, and cutting edges have varying radius sizes.  Depending on which insert style a planing cutter was designed for, when insert replacement becomes necessary it is very important to replace with the identical insert style.   For items not listed in this section, please call us as the program encompasses many other (and often very similar) knives that we have purposefully not added to our online selection to prevent confusion or incorrect orders.  We can be reached via email or by calling us at 800-544-8436
