HOLLOW FACE BLADES

$182.60$271.15

Series 2037, 2038, & 2041

For use on sliding and vertical saws to obtain cleanest cut on double sided laminated material when no scoring blade is engaged.  This special tooth geometry ensures a clean cut on the bottom of the panel.     The 2038 series features a negative hook which is particularly good for mitre cuts, the 2037 is a positive hook hollow face blade, as is the 2041 which features a higher tooth count and a modified hollow face grind.  All 3 versions are popular alternatives to a high-angle ATB blade which all serve the purpose of a clean exit cut on saws without a scoring blade in use.  For use on sliding and vertical saws, this hollow face blade achieves a great finish on double-sided laminated panels without use of scoring blade.  Hollow face blades require special sharpening procedures and need to be face-ground with every re-grind to maintain performance.

Above line drawing shows the 2037 Series tooth style.  The 2038 Series has the same grind but a negative hook, and the 2041 has a modified hollow face grind  (see gallery images to the left).
