ER32 precision spring collets are available in a wide range of popular sizes up to 20mm diameter and have an overall length of 40mm. Collets are consumable items, in that they wear out with use. In the wood machining industry, this style collet is used primarily on SCM and Busellato machines and fits on the HSK-F63 and ISO 30 (generally older machines) Tool Holder style. Replacement is a routine maintenance task that should be completed approximately every 500 machine hours. Failure to do so will result in less than optimum tool life and can reflect in the finish of the material being machined.
