This high-performance helical planing cutter is engineered for versatility and precision in 5-axis CNC machining centers. Ideal for a wide range of applications including trimming, jointing, rebating, hogging, and copying operations, it delivers exceptional results on both solid wood and composite materials.  Very popular tool used in architectural millwork and door production.

Available in two standard sizes:

• Ø80mm diameter with 80mm cutting length

• Ø100mm diameter with 100mm cutting length

The cutter body features 4-sided solid carbide insert knives, allowing for four full rotation cycles before replacement — significantly reducing downtime and tooling costs. Each insert is precision-ground with an edge radius to ensure an ultra-smooth finish across a variety of wood species and engineered materials and eliminate any transition marks.

To ensure clean corners and precise rebate cuts, the cutter base is equipped with two reversible spur knives, which enhance corner/step definition and minimize fiber tear-out. The tool is designed to cut flush at the bottom, making it particularly effective for jointing and finishing passes.

The cutter is mounted on a HSK-F 63 arbor adapter, included and delivered as a complete, ready-to-use unit.
Custom diameters, cut lengths, and insert configurations are also available upon request for specialized applications.
