These rectangular 4-sided carbide insert knives have four cutting edges. They have a 35 degree edge bevel on all edges and, instead of mounting holes, they have a groove along the length of the insert back, and a cross-groove. These solid carbide insert knives are used in router tooling for a wide range of machining applications in wood, composites and other abrasive materials and are commonly used in straight cutting applications such as jointing, rebating, beveling and trimming.
