During the recent industry trade show, IWF-TV featured a visit to the GDP | GUHDO booth to bring it to you “Live from IWF 2018!” . Interviewer, Jared Patchin stopped at our booth to learn more about tooling options for cabinet production on behalf of the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, GA in August 2018 and spoke with Karin Deutschler and Josh Lane of GDP | GUHDO.
The IWF Show which made its debut in 1982 in Atlanta, GA. and was organized by the importers of European woodworking machinery to showcase the newest, cutting edge developments in furniture production hailing mostly from Germany and Italy. Two years later, in 1984, it had replaced the Louisville Woodworking show in Kentucky to become the largest industry trade show in North America to feature exhibitors from all over the world. Products on display include a wide range of woodworking machinery from the small portable units to large CNC machining centers, Edgebanders, Moulders, Tenoners, Beam saws, dust collection systems to a broad range of related products to include hardware, raw materials, laminates, glues and an endless list of accessories…. all Live from IWF 2018! The bi-annual show is a must-see for all who manufacture something made of wood, wood composite or other man-made composite materials and takes place every other year at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. It usually attracts about 40,000 buyers, owners, plant managers and decision makers from companies throughout North America and also welcomes a good number of visitors from overseas.
GDP | GUHDO’s booth in 2018 was 1200 sq feet and boasted a great sampling of their extensive tooling program, to include tool holders, diamond tooling, insert tooling and a selection of custom tools to showcase the company’s many capabilities!
