This 40mm diameter 3 wing cutter is available from stock, and features 3 solid carbide 4-sided solid carbide insert knives to provide 4 cycles before they need to be replaced. What’s even better, the inserts are also available in PCD (polycrystalline diamond) to extend tool life exponentially when machining challenging, abrasive materials.
If using this for shaker door production, additional passes are required with separate router bits to achieve the square corner effect since this tool will leave a 20mm radius needing corner cleanup.
Manufactured in Germany of high quality steel, precision balanced with perfectly accurate positioned insert knives that are automatically locked into position with every insert change, this tool will provide the best possible surface finish and up to 30% longer tool life when ordered on an HSK Heat Shrink toolholder. A heat shrink tool holder delivers an accuracy in concentricity of .003mm!!
Regardless of your surfacing application, the Fourcut ™ will maximize your run-time without sacrificing finish. For applications in particularly abrasive materials, the PCD option is a great alternative! This tool is not recommended for spoilboard surfacing as the the standard spoilboard cutters feature more economically priced replacement inserts.
